Are you sure that the email address for the moderator (that is, the one
that shows up in their "From:" header) is *exactly* the same as the
address that they are added under?

My assumption about what is happening is that you've set the list up to
reject all mail except mail from the moderators/owners, and that for
some reason, the email address that the moderator is using is different
(perhaps only slightly) than the address they are subscribed under.

Go to "Edit List Config"-> Sending/Recieving setup" to change the
behavior of how messages get handled. If you don't want messages to be
rejected out of hand, you can make them moderated.
