It is clear how sympa works, and i've seend the S/MIME auth method.
Very cool.
I'm simply talking about a more ``smarter'' sender identification
algorithm, because i don't need the S/MIME (is too much for me), but i
will appreciate a better sender identification.

Sympa simply consider from, so the sender is what written in From:
header, easyly forged.

Smartlist do more accurate header scanning, and the sender is 99.9% the
real sender of the email.

I'm simply asking if someone have noted this before, and if someone
have tried to port the ``smarter'' sender identification algorithm of
smartlist to sympa.

The algorithm works with:

:0
* 9876543210^0 foreign_submit ?? y
* 2^0 ? formail -X"From " -xFrom: -xReply-To: -xSender: -xResent-From: \
-xResent-Reply-To: -xResent-Sender: -xReturn-Path: | \
multigram -b1 -m -l$submit_threshold -L$domain \
-x$listaddr -x$listreq accept accept2
{

so the smartness are all into the multigram binary (i suppose you know
a little procmail).

I hope that now i'm clear.
