Thanks, Serge. So alternate email addresses are essentially used
only for the Web interface (unless they're unified), not used by the
sympa engine to approve messages for lists. C'est dommage.
I'm not quite sure I understand this one:

You're saying it goes into every list that my alternate address is
subscribed to, and unsubscribes that address and subscribes my primary
address (the one they're unified under) instead? If so, that's cool.
One more question, then: What does "Change my email address" do? It's
hard to understand that, since my email address is my login name, so how
can that be a separate setting?
By the way, all this stuff will go into the user FAQ that I'm building,
and into the more formalized help system that one of my associates is
working on, so your time spent answering these questions will not be
wasted. :) But is someone else already working on user-level docs
(in English)? If so, we should collaborate, yes?
