You can configure sympa to perform virtual domain by two way :

-1- simple solution :

- configure your sendmail to recognize all the domains you want to
support, prepare aliases for each list according to the domain
you want.

- add the HOST parameter in each list config file in order to make
the headers of messages distributed in a list correct.

- use welcome.mime, bye.mime, remove.mime, reminder.mime in each
list directory with correct SMTP headers

-2- complete solution

If you need a full virtual domain with distinct list of lists and
distinct default configuration you must install a different robot
for each domain. In order to do it you just need to edit the makefile
to specify to different path for sympa.conf (and of course to make
different home_dir foreach robot).

Virtual domains is part of sympa's road map. The goal is to use a single
robot with a single sympa.conf file but with various "expl" directory.
This will be not too hard, contribs to the desein or to the code are
welcome.
