I can backport 6.2.22 to stretch and upload to official backport.

Thanks for you suggestion, I agree but I forgot to say that I would like to use 6.2.22 with Debian stretch (stable) for production environments.
Installing Sympa with apt is simple and easy to maintain.
Have you plan to host a Debian Stretch repository with latest stable version of Sympa ?
