`/usr/share/sympa/default/create_list_templates/*.tt2` are not 
configuration files, they are the defaults, thus it is expected that a 
package upgrade replaces them.
Rather than modify them, you should instead create a modified copy of 
one, some or all of these files in `/etc/sympa/create_list_templates/`
