Thanks for the quick reply.

However, I don't think that's the problem. Apache seems to be accessing 
the correct socket:


root@sympa:/home/ballier# ll /usr/local/var/run/sympa

drwxr-xr-x 3 root     root     4096 Jan  1 12:06 ../
