Hi Mathieu,
No need to reopen it: if it was not fixed in 6.2.70 as announced, it is certainly fixed in 6.2.72 : We are running 6.2.71b.1 and we don't have this problem.
So it is fixed now, but you should upgrade to 6.2.72. You can make this upgrade without fear : we are running 6.2.71b.1 since it was released - six months - and, despite a few stains, it works well.
Cheers,
David
Hello,
It looks like it was a bug, fixed with version 6.2.70. but we already use the version 6.2.70, and we’ve been using for almost a year now.
Shall I re-open it ?

I have had this problem as well and I did get a response indicating not expected behaviour. In our old 6.0.3 this worked, whereas the version we are running now,6.2.68 does not.

Subject: [en@sympa] Re-opening a closed list
Hello all,
I have a problem with closed lists.
From time to time, we close the unused lists and warn their admins. After some time, if they didn’t ask for re-opening, we delete them. But sometimes, an admin asks us to re-open a closed list. It happened for the first time some weeks ago. That’s when the problem occurred : once the list has been opened again, it had lost all of its subscribers.
I have asked to the French community list, and some people said that a dump of subscribers should be in the list folder. But there is no such file, and I’ve checked several closed lists.
All our lists are family-related. It might have some impact.
The loss of the subscribers is a big problem. If we can re-open the list with all its settings and subscribers preserved, closing it is not relevant.
Dose someone know if this is normal ? Did we miss some settings somewhere ?
Thanks,
Mathieu
