Greetings all - Attached is the pdf for the sympa-mysql optimizations we 
implemented on a Sympa 6.1 server running MySQL 5.x.   This old server hosted 
 +20 virtual servers (aka robots), and thousands of lists.   When I migrated 
to Sympa 6.2.x I also upgraded to the latest version of MariaDB (v10.5.x) .  
This new server is running just fine without the SQL optimizations and has a 
similar robot/list load.

It is from 2017, so some things might have changed. Terry still posts to the 
list regularly, maybe there's a newer version somewhere?
