The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Hi Pierre,

I asked a similar question a few months ago and learned that there is no such 
field available. 

My idea for a work-around is to put a standard phrase in a list's info file 
with a date (like "expires: 12/24/2023"). Since each list's info file is 
plain text and readable in Unix cli (path is 
/var/lib/sympa/list_data/list.here.edu/[listname]/info) we are creating a 
linux script that can be run periodically to gather those "expires:" dates, 
check for any that have passed, and email someone the list of past-due lists.

I am new on this list
on the sympa server of my institute I have an "inflation" on the number 
of mailling list, 100 have been created in 2021 and only few are closed.

I tried to find a way to limit the duration of a mailling list at creation.
I didn't find in the configuration, a field with ending date of the 
list. Is there any ?
I would like to have a mandatory field that specified the duration or 
the ending date of the list. Action at the date could be a simple email 
to listmaster and the owners.

Do you have the same type of problem ?
What issue have you find
