Hello everybody,

I'm new to Sympa. Thanks for this great piece of software!

I installed the Debian version of Sympa (Version: 6.2.40~dfsg-1+deb10u1) on a server of mine which runs a subdomain:

'lists.example.com'

I think I made a configuration failure but I cannot find the reason.

In /etc/sympa/sympa/sympa.conf I wrote:

'domain lists.example.com'

If I create a new list on this Sympa, let's call it

'address@concealed'

and subscribe a new user to it this user will get it's invitation mail correctly but from

'address@concealed'

Note that the subdomain part got lost.

Here are headers from a mail which was delivered by Sympa for this list:

--8<--------------------------------------------------------

Return-Path: <address@concealed>
To: address@concealed
Reply-To: address@concealed
X-Loop: address@concealed
Errors-To: address@concealed
Sender: address@concealed
List-Id: <testlist.lists.example.com>
List-Post: <mailto:address@concealed>
List-Owner: <mailto:address@concealed>

This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 4880 and 3156)

IMO every '@example.com' is wrong and should be '@lists.example.com'

I am glad for every advice.

Alles Gute
