Dear Sympa users,

On a new sympa 6.2.56 install I'm trying to get automatic lists to work.
When sending mail, this is what sympa logs:

2020-08-03T14:07:12.118110+02:00 build sympa_automatic[23167]: err
main::#164 > Sympa::Spindle::spin#83 >
Sympa::Spindle::ProcessAutomatic::_twist#151 > Conf::valid_robot#854
Robot * undefined; no /home/sympa/etc/* directory
2020-08-03T14:07:12.118577+02:00 build sympa_automatic[23167]: err
main::#164 > Sympa::Spindle::spin#83 >
Sympa::Spindle::ProcessAutomatic::_twist#152 Robot * does not exist

Which is strange, as I have one robot, and that seems to work. ( Mail
for a list on that domain is delivered normally. ) So some remarks:

- The /home/sympa/etc/ does not have a '*' subdir, but it does have a
dir with the robot name, which also contains the families tree.
- The automatic lists are supposed to be working with this robot.
- Postfix seems to be configured ok, as mail for a new-to-be-created
list ends up in the automatic spool.
- The error message that was mailed back has Subject 'List unknown', and
reads:

----
This is an automatic response sent by Sympa Mailing Lists Manager.
Impossible to distribute your message for list 'address@concealed'
for the following reason:

List 'address@concealed' does not exist.

Reporting-MTA: dns; build.hku.nl
Arrival-Date: Mon, 3 Aug 2020 11:55:08 +0200

Final-Recipient: rfc822; address@concealed
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.2
Remote-MTA: dns; build.hku.nl
Diagnostic-Code: X-Sympa; Bad destination system address
----

where the message was send to address@concealed, build being
the primare hostname, and ml.hku.nl the robot.

So what am I doing wrong? Automatic lists work on our 6.1.22 production
server, but that is single domain. Are automatic lists compatible with
virtual domains? I couldn't find any straight answers in the
admistration manual, so hopefully someone here can shed some light on
this! Thanks very much in advance!
Best,

gerard
