I've tested the Whitelist/Modlist plugin with Sympa 6.2.44, the latest RPM in the EPEL repo (last test was 6.2.4)

It works fine with Whitelist 1.2, from the Git repo, though you need to recustomise the nav.tt2, admin.tt2, search.tt2 files to re-add the required link.  The exact location to add this link may not always be obvious so I'll put some more instructions in there.
