Hello Dave,

the sympa --upgrade is done automatically when upgrading Debian packages.

From the 6.2.34 owners and moderators are no longer stored in the config
files, so the database is the authoritative
resource.

Can you provide the complete error message? Does it go away when you delete
the owners from the config files?
