Hi,

You should use the color_* parameters, as explained here: 
https://sympa-community.github.io/gpldoc/man/sympa.conf.5.html#color_0--color_15

You can test colors in your session within the web interface. It is in 
the "Listmaster admin" area, section "Skins, CSS and colors".
