I agree to wiki-fy Sympa documentation (wiki service above by GitHub
may not be used because it is too poor to publish documentation).

To do it, we need following things:

  1. Authoring content.
  2. Hosting wiki service to publish the content.
  3. Human resource to administer the service.
  4. Time and money to do the things 1. to 3.

Among them, 1. has been (even though imcompelete) prepared on the
site above in Markdown format.

On 2., there are many (either free or charged) hosting services.
We might choose something and might start administering.

In fact, public wiki system based on Git repository and Markdown is
possible.  Why Markdown was chosen as format of documentation
sources is that it may be easily converted to the other formats such
as HTML.

That's why I think authoring contents is one of essential thing.

However, who does bear 3.?  Even with recent GitHub project,
active members are hardly more than ten.  IMO we have no room to
spend for administration.

We are indeed in short of 4., particularly of money.  We may
solicit for donation. --- But wait! Before we start collecting
money, we should hire our fundraiser (infinite loop).

Anyways, I think we will accomplish them in the future.


To begin with, retirement of current www.sympa.org and
moving sympa-community.github.io are discussed by some ones.
