Hi

Going back to this issue I've realized that it seems that VERP is enabled when it isn't.

This is a good message sent to one list, a user from this list is invalid, so the list receives a bounce and register it right:

Mar 15 09:46:57 bulk[8630]: notice Sympa::Spindle::ProcessOutgoing::_twist() Start sending message Sympa::Message <5.30.1489567616.1489567616.596634.LISTNAME@DOMAIN_s,8624,3246/s> to Sympa::List <LISTNAME@DOMAIN> (priority 5) (starting 1 seconds after scheduled expedition date)
Mar 15 09:46:57 bulk[8630]: notice Sympa::Mailer::store() Forked process 3278: /usr/sbin/sendmail -oi -odi -oem -f 'LISTNAME-owner@DOMAIN' -- USER1@DOMAIN USER2@DOMAIN USER3@DOMAIN USER4@DOMAIN USER5@DOMAIN USER6@DOMAIN USER7@DOMAIN USER8@DOMAIN USER9@DOMAIN USER10@DOMAIN
Mar 15 09:47:00 bounced[8640]: notice Sympa::Tracking::store() Sympa::Message <address@concealed> is stored into Sympa::Tracking as <USER10@DOMAIN>
Mar 15 09:47:00 bounced[8640]: notice Sympa::Spindle::ProcessBounce::_twist() Received bounce for email address <USER10@DOMAIN>, list Sympa::List <LISTNAME@DOMAIN>

And this is a message to the same list that produces an "Unknown list" message to the listmaster . As you can see in the third line, verp seems to be enabled (tracking=verp) when it's not configured, so, by default, it should be 0% (at the GUI administration console it's 0%)

Mar 14 07:29:52 sympa_msg[8624]: notice Sympa::Spindle::ProcessIncoming::_twist() Processing Sympa::Message <address@concealed>; envelope_sender=; address@concealed; sender=mailer-daemon@DOMAIN

Can you please check wheter it can be a bug or not?
Thanks, regards,
Gonzalo

Hi Soji,

Yes, it's configured to be "+"

Regarding Racke mail, I've tracking_delivery_status_notification and tracking_message_disposition_notification set to off

It seems that postfix it's not redirecting right this mails to sympa bounce or sympa it's not able to process them.  May be second option, because it's sympa who it's rejecting them, so it could be a sympa alias issue?

Thanks for your help and best regards,
Gonzalo

Hi Gonzalo,

Though I'm not sure, didn't you configure recipient_delimiter in main.cf to be "+"?

Hi All,

I'm running Sympa 6.2.16 since 10 days ago, and we have started to receive reports at postmaster mail account with subject "Unknown list"

The message itself says it's not posible to distribute message to the list:

bounce+receiver==a==domain==listname@domain

I know it's an alias problem but I tried to replicate old system config which was working fine without success.

I'm using postfix as MTA. Please, if anyone has suffered this problem and can help me with the solution I would appreciate.

Thanks in advance

Gonzalo
