We ran into a weird behavior between imported vs. locally defined lists.    We have an imported list where footer syntax is ignored and is sent as ASCI.  E.g.

The server is configured with merge_feature=on  and we’ve tested the different attachment types (MIME/append) with the same ASCII result.   Other lists seem behave as expected with the variable names being substituted with the appropriate values.   Are there any known fixes?
