I can certainly see the ability to configure authentication scenarios
around PGP being being useful at Oxford, for technical announcement
lists. We have more PGP use than S/MIME as far as I can tell, but there
is no mass deployment of either so it would be restricted to the more
technical people in the IT department(s) I suspect.

As for not breaking it; I've not seen it break signatures on the way
through yet, although we've not been running for very long, so maybe
there are cases (trailers?) which don't work well at the moment.
