Hi guys
This is the first time I'm running an app in fcgid mode, and until now
I'm used to restarting apache this way:
apachectl restart
or:
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart
When I do that now with sympa, it takes ages, and eventually some
apache2 processes keep hanging.
So that's a pain when testing and setting things up.
This does work quickly:
killall -9 /usr/sbin/apache2
apachectl start
But it seems too drastic...
How do you guys do this?
PS. We're running Ubuntu 12.04.
Many thanks!!
