Hi,
What version of Sympa re you using. If I remember correctly, Sympa 6.1 at least should not have such problem.
Theoretically, Sympa doesn't care about the users LDAP password: it just binds to the LDAP with the user id and the password.

What do the slapd logs tell when a user tries to authenticate with the new password?

David

We use an authentification scenario which allow users to authenticate with cas, ldap or local account.

When users who use the ldap method change their password (external method of course to manage password stored in ldap), this is not reconized during the sympa authentification process. They must use their old password. (Other application who use ldap authentication method are aware of the new password).
I've checked the password_user field of the user_table => NULL
I've try to delete the user record in the user_table.
I've restart sympa and apache

The sympa documentation say that there is a cache used by scenaris but that the TTL is one hour.

Has someone an idea of where could be the cache ?

Regards
