Hi,

The list is build using filesystem order from a merge of subfolders from <sympa>/default/create_list_templates, <sympa>/etc/create_list_templates and <sympa>/etc/<virtualdomain>/create_list_templates (2 last ones may not exist).

A quick solution I think of is naming your create_list_templates sub-folders to get the ordering you want (like 0_private_working_group 1_discussion_list and 2_html-news-letter) and use create_list.conf to hide the "old" ones.

You'd better avoid altering the default templates, so copy the templates you want from <sympa>/defaults/create_list_templates to <sympa>/etc/create_list_templates (or <sympa>/etc/<virtualdomain>/create_list_templates if you just want this order for one virtual domain), change their names and update the corresponding create_list.conf.

Hope that helps !

In the "Create a list using a template" section of the "Create List" tab, we
currently have the following List Types available for selection:

* Public discussion mailing list
* Mailing list configuration to be used for a news letter providing both text
plain and HTML formats
* Private working group setup

We would like to change the order so that the "Private Working Group Setup" is
displayed first, then the public option, and then finally the HTML newsletter,
i.e.

* Private working group setup
* Public discussion mailing list
* Mailing list configuration to be used for a news letter providing both text
plain and HTML formats

Is the above possible ? I tried looking into the documentation for
"create_list.conf", but couldn't see how to change the ordering.

Thanks,
