Yes I have tried that with no success.

do you get that same hashed value if you connect to AD using an LDAP client with the same BIND credentials? With LDAP client I mean something like ldapsearch, LDAP Browser/Editor, Softerra, Apache Directory Studio etc.

What does your LDAP config look like in Sympa?
