Hello everybody,

I got an problem with the archive function of sympa recording to encrypted messages.

I can’t receive encrypted E-Mails from an archive of a list. I don’t receive an response from the server if I send an encrypted message from the archive.

This is the error which I always get:

Jan  9 11:44:48 mailinglisten-dev wwsympa[23581]: info WWSympa started

Jan  9 11:44:49 mailinglisten-dev wwsympa[23581]: info [robot fraunhofer.de] [session 8827497686428]

Jan  9 11:44:50 mailinglisten-dev sympa[11647]: notice Moving bad file address@concealed to bad/

My question is why Sympa try to find the needed certificate files under the directory path: /home/sympa/list_data/sympa. I tried to find this parameter in the script files but it seems to be that there aren’t such an parameter for setting this path.

I also need to know which certificate files sympa need to encrypt the archived message object. I think it is the cert.pm and private_key under /home/sympa/list_data/demoliste.

When I create /home/sympa/list_data/sympa and put these files (cert.pm and private_key) under this directory sympa is able to send the message without reporting an problem but the process sympa.pl die.

Additional Information recording to my S/MIME configurations:

sympa.conf

###\\\\ S/MIME pluggin ////###

## Path to OpenSSL

## Sympa knowns S/MIME if openssl is installed

openssl /usr/bin/openssl

## The directory path use by OpenSSL for trusted CA certificates

# capath        /home/sympa/etc/ssl.crt

##  This parameter sets the all-in-one file where you can assemble the Certificates of Certification Authorities ($

cafile  /home/sympa/etc/ssl.crt/cert-bundle.pem

## User CERTs directory

ssl_cert_dir    /home/sympa/list_data/X509-user-certs

##

crl_dir /home/sympa/list_data/crl

How can I solve this problem so that I can provide the functionality to receive encrypted messages from the archive of an list?

with best regards

Tobias Munz
