have you check the aliases that sympa is using? in my setup i enabled sympa alias in sendmail.mc then compiled that to get sendmail.cf file. created sympa alias ex: /etc/mail/sympa-alias.
the alias is the one who will process the bulk.pl if i am not mistaken. if you are having problem with security, i would suggest to disable SELinux first then troubleshoot.
regards

I'm having a bit of an issue that's making me a bit crazy.
Long time Sympa user (our server is Fedora Core 4, if that gives you any
indication - and that's our SECOND Sympa server that we've had) that's now
moving from one server to another. I migrated the database and all of the
archives to the new server, upgraded us from Sympa 5.x to the latest version.
The new server is CentOS 5.5, and I'm using sendmail. Everything is working
from what I can tell. The only problem is that Sympa, upon "processing" the
message, never sends the call over to sendmail and actually sends the message.
The server utilizes /etc/smrsh so I have that set up, and the files have SUID
set. I have the aliases built into /etc/aliases (and 3 subsequent alias files
for the 1000+ mailing lists that I run). Messages are going into sympa.log
and appear that they are working, per the messages below:

So what am I missing? Messages are being received, appear that they're being
processed by Sympa, and are being archived by Sympa. But they never are
mailed out. It's like a disconnect between Sympa and sendmail - but I don't
know what it is.
Help?
