Thanks Dan. Is this something we can also do with a scenari ? I've been reading up on it and perhaps it can be done. Just not real familiar with the use of the scenari files if I want to only apply rules to a particular list or globally... Any ideas?

Thanks,
-John

We configured spamassassin to mark them as spam, so sympa treats them as spam.  Here are the rules I've used so far.   These defaults are probably not appropriate for general user mail.

# a copy of __BOUNCE_OOO_1 from vbounce.cf
body    I2_VACATION1    /\bI(?:.m| am| will be|.ll be) (?:(?:out of|away from) the office|on vacation) (?:from|to|until|after|starting)\b/i
score   I2_VACATION1    5

body    I2_VACATION2    /You will receive a notification for each message you send to this person/
score   I2_VACATION2    4

body    I2_VACATION3    /Note: This is an automated response to your message/
score   I2_VACATION3    3

# a copy of __BOUNCE_OOO_2
body    I2_VACATION4    /\bI ?.m away until .{10,20} and am unable to read your message\b/
score   I2_VACATION4    1

Depending on how the moderated list is used you might also just set it to "moderate, quiet" so that the list owner doesn't get ANY moderation messages.
