Actually, I was meaning something more administrative.

We're looking to migrate some lists over to Sympa, and some members on
those lists have the equivalent of the NOMAIL flag. So I was
wondering how I might be able to translate those users to also have
NOMAIL set in Sympa. I'll poke around in the db.
