Hi Edward,

I agree, it would be nice if there was a better way of modifying list
configurations.

As a work-around for your particular case, have you tried using the
"owner_include" option? I haven't tried it yet myself, but I think that
might be able to solve your problem.

We maintain a list for every section at our university, and I have a
need to update list owners when instructors fall off the rolls, or new
instructors are added. But, there is no: ./sympa.pl --update command.

I can insert/delete DB records in the admin_table, but since the
respective "config" files are not simultaneously updated, it throws
things out of sync.

I've noted that updating the config file for a given list works (it also
updates the DB). Is there something less brute-force than actually
rewriting the config file?
