Hi,
We run a bunch of closed lists, where we screen list members manually. When someone tries to subscribe through wwsympa, the list admin gets a subscription request ticket - and generally exchanges some email with the subscriber before adding/rejecting them.
I was under the impression that sympa sends a "your request has been forwarded to the list owner" message - but when I went to try to customize that message, no such message is listed on the admin/customize page, and I can't find a corresponding scenari or template file.
Which leads to two questions:
1. Am I wrong about subscribers getting a message (and if so, has it always been this way, or did it change)?
2. If subscribers DO get a message, is there a way to customize it?
Thanks,
Miles Fidelman

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
In<fnord> practice, there is. .... Yogi Berra
