Hi Nick,

Please provide more informations about the moderation issue you're facing, including sympa log entries, error messages.

Dealing about your other concern (ie remaining directories in the moderation spool) : these directories are HTML views of each messages, generated by mhonarc tool. There're usefull when modering via the web. These directories are cleaned by the spool cleaning subroutine, run by sympa.pl.

I've got a similar situation, in that messages for lists which require
moderation are only sent out if the moderation is done using the web
interface. Email authorisation simply doesn't work.

What I've also noticed is that when messages are moderated and rejected
on the web interface, while the file within /home/sympa/spool/moderation
is deleted, the corresponding directory is not.

For instance, ls -al gives:
drwxr-x--- 2 sympa sympa 4096 2010-07-09
10:45 .address@concealed
-rw-r----- 1 sympa sympa 12904 2010-07-09 10:45
address@concealed
drwxr-x--- 2 sympa sympa 4096 2010-06-30
10:20 .address@concealed
-rw-r----- 1 sympa sympa 14356 2010-06-30 10:20
address@concealed

Then after rejecting the messages, ls -al gives:
drwxr-x--- 2 sympa sympa 4096 2010-07-09
10:45 .address@concealed
drwxr-x--- 2 sympa sympa 4096 2010-06-30
10:20 .address@concealed

Within each directory is a file called msg00000.html with the MHonArc
text of the message.

So, permissions issue? Or a bug?
