I'll add it to the list. We just went to production recently, and I
have a bunch of local patches, so it'll be fun getting upgraded. :)

Hmmm, I'm not sure what it was then. Now they are:
-rw-r--r-- 1 server webservd 31 Jun 24 09:54 /var/sympa/bulk.pid
The directory permissions are:
drwxr-xr-x 15 server webservd 22 Jun 23 15:09 /var/sympa/
`server' is the user that sympa runs as. We shouldn't have anything
locally that would mess with that directory area (i.e. change the
permissions), but I will check the permissions if it happens again.
A Sympa restart (/etc/init.d/sympa restart) restarted Sympa cleanly,
including starting the bulk process.
