Hello,
thanks for the reply.
Actually this is a big problem for my sympa site:
When I upgraded from sympa 5.2.3 to sympa 6.0.1 I really forgot to write the sympa cookie to sympa.conf
and the default cookie 123456789 was written in sympa. conf
Upon startup sympa complained about this then I Remembered of the old good cookie... and to fix everything I put
my old good cookie in /etc/sympa.conf replacing the default 1234567but still sympa complained...
I fixed the problem writing the old good cookie into /home/sympa/etc/cookies.history and sympa did not complain anymore.
Since then anyway I got these incorrect checksum errors which give me a lots of problem because the new list requests
are not notified to me anymore... and this is a problem.
Do I have to set the cookies also in the sympa DB somewhere ?
how to solve this problem ?
thank you
Rick

Hi,
looking at the source code, it seems your cookie in sympa.conf doesn't match up. Try the Sympa FAQ, I think I saw something about checksum/cookie errors after upgrading. I think you have to keep the cookie value the same after the upgrade.
As far as the listmaster address goes, I don't think this can be more than one address. Did it work in the old Sympa version?
Best,
Christian

Hello,
I isntalled sympa 6.0.1 and migrated from older 5.2.3 version.
now when a new list request si submitted there is a error:
Feb 23 09:21:19 lists sympa[23382]: main::DoSendMessage()
sympa::DoSendMessage(): message ignored because incorrect checksum
the mail with mailing list approval request si submitted to
listmaster@sympa.
the listmaster as defined in sympa.conf are 2 different email
addresses
listmaster address@concealed
<mailto:address@concealed> , address@concealed
<mailto:address@concealed>
actually admin.two never receive notify.
I tryed to inspect further the logs but I cannot understand the
origin of the checksum error.
any hints ?
thanks you
Rick
