That's a veeeeeery good idea! Actually, that's what we recommand to all 
admins, even if they only have one domain to manage. You never know.

That's probably an alias problem.
If you use sendmail, you should set the following alias in a 
/etc/mail/vhost_aliases declared in sendmail.mc :

## Sympa lists1.myhost.dom ##
lists1.myhost.dom-sympa: "| /home/sympa/bin/queue address@concealed"
lists1.myhost.dom-sympa-request: address@concealed
lists1.myhost.dom-listmaster: "| /home/sympa/bin/queue 
address@concealed"
lists1.myhost.dom-bounce+*: "|/home/sympa/bin/bouncequeue 
address@concealed"
lists1.myhost.dom-abuse: address@concealed
