I get no logging output through syslog at all.

I knew I forgot important information in the initial email:

0 > grep LOCAL /ucd/local/etc/{wwsympa.conf,sympa.conf}
/ucd/local/etc/wwsympa.conf:log_facility LOCAL2
/ucd/local/etc/sympa.conf:syslog LOCAL1

I like to separate the logging for the two.

0 > grep sympa /etc/syslog.conf
local1.* /var/log/sympa.log
local2.* /var/log/wwsympa.log

[ Those are tabs in the actual log file. ]

I have restarted syslog multiple times.

0 > ls -la /var/log/sympa.log /var/log/wwsympa.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Nov 10 14:03 /var/log/sympa.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Nov 10 14:03 /var/log/wwsympa.log

No output at all...
