Well, As I stated in my post, all works when doing it manually. If you look
at the bottom of my post, you see a dump of me using the mysql-client to
obtain the dataset with the same credentials. 

All components (Symnpa, apache, mysql, exim etc) is on the same server.

Even with debug 4 I cannot seem to see anything in the logs to indicate what
failed. Can I "dig deeper" somehow?
