Hi,
I've read through the FAQ and have setup Sympa on a single machine (CentOS 5, MySQL etc..) with the performance suggestions outlined in the FAQ.
Is it possible to run Sympa behind a load balancer VIP? Something along the lines of:
VIP - load balances port 25
Sympa1 Sympa2 Sympa3 etc...
It doesn't appear to me that Sympa's MySQL server is really necessary for normal mail flow - only for list subcription updates and management. What's critical for me
is having Sympa continue to churn out mail in the event of an outage.
Right now I've just got 'sympa1' and that's where folks update and manage their lists and all mail flows through there. If sympa1 dies - then mail should continue to be
processed via sympa2 & 3 through the VIP.
It's just a matter of me setting up some sync scripts to push and keep configs consistent between all 3 systems.
Am I on the right track here?
-Mike
