- Subject: [sympa-users] Sympa on different host than MTA?
- Date: Sun, 11 May 2008 21:26:44 +0200
Hi,
I have probably a stupid question but I'm currently set up new systems
and now the main mailserver is on a a different host than Sympa should
be and my question now, is that possible?
I.e. what do I need to do?
* Obviously Sympa-host needs to be able to send email (possibly via
smarthost)
* Is it possible to accept the emails on the mail-hub (postfix) and
simply forward the email then to Sympa-Host where a tiny MTA runs?
Or are there other possiblities?
Cheers
Carsten
