Until such time that this is handled automatically, can I *stringly* 
suggest a warning in the 'make install' so suggest people do the schema 
update before continuing if they are not using mySQL.

I got a whole pile of insert errors and sympa send out a bunch of 
messages to the list owners telling them their lists had been put in 
error_config state, several of them were quite concerned as they had not 
done anything.

The upgrade to the schema was pretty painless, several 'alter table' 
statements to add in the missing columns and the 'create table' for the 
session stuff.  The create scripts in bin have the right commands, they 
just needed to be done as part of the upgrade.
