Did you verify that your sympa.conf has the correct configuration to
access your database? Can you access your database manually with your
local database-client?
Did you verify that the location where sympa looks for the sympa.conf
has not changed? (./configure --sysconfdir=/some/new/path?)
Did you run "sympa.pl --upgrade"? What did the upgrade-process report?
