The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Hello,
I have sympa 5.2 running on a gentoo server. For one list I'm using the
scenari subscribe.auth_notify:
# do not authentify nor notify updates
is_subscriber ([listname],[sender])  smtp,smime,md5 -> do_it
true()                               smtp -> request_auth
true()                               md5,smime  -> do_it,notify

If someone subscribes to this list successfully, the listowner is
getting an empty mail with the subject:
<listname> / notice

Is this the correct behaviour?
If yes: It would be nice to have the email address of the new subscriber
in the subject line or the body
If no: what could be my problem? In which templates do I have to look
