I don't know how much this is a Sympa problem and how much something else, but hopefully someone will be able to give me some pointers.

I'm trying to have the sympauser cookie set be another application, and indeed deleted by that application when users log out. I've ensured that both wwsympa and the other app are on the same host to try and make sharing cookies a bit easier.

In IE it all seems to work fine. But Firefox is behaving oddly and logging out of the other app does not log the user out of sympa.

The domain of the cookie is set (be the other app) to www.mydomain.co.uk. I've even checked the headers to ensure that this is the case. But Firefox appears to store the domain as .www.mydomain.co.uk. What then seems to happen is that on accessing sympa a second sympauser cookie is set, this time with the correct domain. On logging out of the other app only the cookie with the leading dot on the domain is removed so the user is still logged in to sympa.

Any suggestions as to what is going on, and how to sort it out?

Thanks
