Sorry for the late answer ; I thought other Sympa experts might have answered on this topics.

The only HTML input size that we set is the length of the visible part of inputs. We don't define the max length, therefore the defaults should apply. If you want to change the maximum length of input fields you should try setting the "maxlength" attribute to a bigger value. I guess it could be done in the CSS but I'm not an expert...

Any other information from the list ?
