Hi,
Sympa 5.2.1 Postfix
I’m at a bit of a loss where to start with this one. I thought my sympa installation was working ok until I tried approving messages to a moderated list, and got undeliverable bounce messages for the emails sent to the sympa alias. It looks like sympa cannot process commands sent to sympa@<domain>.
This is the bounce message I receive (note I’ve masked my domain with <domain>):
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. Subject: CONFIRM 7fb4c06e2a0c10593b94453b682aa161 Sent: 2/08/2006 8:23 a.m.
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
sympa@<domain> on 2/08/2006 8:31 p.m. The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator. < <domain> #5.0.0 X-Postfix; Command died with status 1: "/home/sympa/bin/queue sympa@<domain>"> In the maillog: Aug 2 21:33:20 it016811

size=6149, nrcpt=1 (queue active) No errors relating to this are logged in the sympa log – so it looks more like a postfix permissions problem? I’m reasonably sure I haven’t changed any permissions on the sympa folders, what other folders would be involved that could cause this problem? Permissions on /home/sympa/bin/queue: -rwsr-xr-x 1 sympa sympa 12097 Jul 27 01:58 queue Any Ideas? Michael
