Hi Stefan,
Sympa provides a command-line argument to import subscribers into a list, using a text file as the input.
Check http://www.sympa.org/doc/html/node9.html#SECTION00950000000000000000
You should also check the mailman2Sympa scripts from our website : http://www.sympa.org/contrib.html
(if you extend them, let us know)

i got stuck while setting up sympa 5.2 on a suse 10.0. everything seems to
work smoothly so far. but recently i need to import all my mailman lists
(lists, subscribers, owners and description) into sympa. i have read the
documentation already, especially chapter 18 to 20. i found out that its
quite handy to perform a command line import with the help of sympa.pl with a
xml - file as parameter. by now i generated a single textfile, which includes
all listnames with owners, description and members(subscribers). with all the
python scripts provided by mailman this is not a problem. so far so good. the
only really serious question i have is: is there any possible way to import
the SUBSCRIBERS? there is no entry delivered by the example xml file and
either no single list config parameter given. does it make sense to first of
all import the barely lists and then maybe import subscribers to the
subscriber table of mysql??
