Hi,
I've recently set up a Sympa installation to manage a list of about 3,000
people and have been impressed with its power and superb web interface.
There's been one thing I wanted to do however and couldn't find in the docs:
Is it possible to email a subset of the subscribers to a list? The scenario
is
that we're sending out a form to all list members to fill in and we'd like to
send a reminder to those people who haven't completed the form yet.
I have a list of email addresses for those who have completed the form, and I
wondered if this could be used as a (temporary) "exclude" list...
Ie (for instance) if there was a way you could use the include2 data source as
an exlusion mechanism: "send emails to everybody on the list except for these
addresses."
Of course, it would be easy enough to set up a new list to do this, but that
doesn't feel like the "clever" way to go about it.
Apologies if I'm missing something obvious... I have studied the docs and FAQ
but have seen nothing on this subject, except for a question about it in 2004.
Best regards,
D I Macdonald
