You can set the "reception" attribute of one editor to "nomail", either 
via the web interace admin page or as follows in the config file :

editor
email address@concealed
reception nomail

The "nomail" reception mode allows you to have some persons who do the 
full moderation job (ie : recieve moderation requests) and others (the 
ones with the "nomail" reception mode) who have the privilege without 
the "annoyance".
