Meanwhile I disabled the editor-list in the template but kept the 
owner-list. It took only one minute to find the relevant section and 
change it. I've never dared to touch those templates before, but they 
have a very high quality and are very easy to change. Kudos to the 
designers.
Regarding the owners-list I haven't decided yet, but I'll probably keep 
the privileged owners listed.
