Adam Bernstein said unto me on 2005/09/15 6:25 PM:
I've just reported this bug, but figured it would be a good thing to
make sure everybody on the list saw too. Sympa's CSS interface is
apparently entirely broken for users of IE on the Mac, ie. no stylesheet
at all is loaded and the formatting is thus entirely lost and the site
is largely unusable, because of an IE Mac bug. Slightly more detail
here:

That page is having problems right now, so I couldn't read more on the problem, but is this due to the SSL bug in IE5 for Mac? In my experience, on certain servers using SSL, IE will only get the first request successfully (index.html for example) and all subsequent requests (images, stylesheets, etc) will fail. There's nothing Sympa can do about that.

If you Google, there is a way to configure Apache so https will work with IE5 Mac, but I opted not to do this on our servers. I figure if Microsoft doesn't support it and Apple doesn't distribute it, I don't need to go out of my way to make it work.

I didn't "switch" to Apple... my OS did.
