I have having trouble installing Sympa 5.1b on a brand new install of
FreeBSD 5.4. Well to be percise, the install goes fine and Sympa is
actually up and running but the locale langagues do not work. I get
this message from the install process:
Checking available locales ...
#########################################################################################################
## IMPORTANT : Sympa is not able to use locales because they are not properly
configured on this server
## You should activate some of the following locales :
## cs_CZ de_DE en_US es_ES et_EE fi_FI fr_FR hu_HU it_IT ja_JP nl_NL
oc_FR pl_PL pt_PT ro_RO zh_CN zh_TW
## On Debian you should run the following command : dpkg-reconfigure locales
## On others systems, check /etc/locale.gen or /etc/sysconfig/i18n files
#################################################################################################
I have all of those installed and the output of locale lists
"LANG=en_US". I am a bit confused as to why it does not pick up all
the languages. It works great using the default english but I would
like to have all languages available. If anyone can point me to
something I am missing or has installed Sympa 5.1b on FreeBSD 5.4 and
could give me some pointers that would be great.
