The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

I'm getting an Unknown Mailer Error 255 (in /var/log/maillog).  I
thought I had figured out that it was just the fact that I had
overwritten sympa's binaries and 'root' owned them.  But once I did a
'chown -R sympa.sympa *' and restarted everything, the problem
persisted.  I know I'm probably just missing some permission issue
somewhere.  Can anyone help?
